In 2005 a class action lawsuit was brought against Finishers Corp of California, another Chris Troxel venture, in Sacramento Superior Court. The workers claimed over two hundred thousand in unpaid wages. A default was obtained proving a widespread practice of cheating a predominantly immigrant workforce. This case documents wage and hour violations involving falsified payroll records on three prevailing wage projects. Hopefully this is not the kind of immigrant worker abuse and fraud you want your business associated with.
